Hockey Ties Kents Hill

Despite outshooting Kents Hill on Friday night, 50-22, Brunswick settled for a 1-1 tie with the Huskies in Hartong Rink. Following the draw, the Bruins move to 11-4-2, while the Huskies stand at 2-12-2 overall.
 
After two scoreless periods, Kents Hill netted a go-ahead tally with 14:40 left in the contest.
 
Brunswick’s Henry Foster netted the equalizer with under seven minutes on the clock off a nice feed from Will Forrest from behind the Huskies’ net.
 
The Bruins, ranked eighth in the latest USHR.com weekly poll, kept up the offensive pressure on the Kents Hill goalie down the stretch and into the five-minute overtime session, but the hosts could not net the go-ahead tally.
