Soccer Wins Fourth in a Row

Brunswick picked up another win, as the Bruins posted a 3-0 shut-out win over Trinity-Pawling on Wednesday. The victory is the fourth-straight for Brunswick (5-3-1).
 
The Bruins netted their first goal in the 27th minute. Following a saved shot on a Stevie Lopez strike, Michael Huber collected the long rebound and drove a low shot past the Trinity-Pawling goalie, bottom right, for the 1-0 lead.
 
In the 42nd minute, Nico Montoni took a ball away from a Pride midfielder and worked ahead to Kyle Raker. Raker used two touches on the way to the net to score the second goal of the game for the visitors.
 
The Bruins made it a 3-0 contest in the 77th minute of action, as Raker netted another goal from in close. Ahead of the scoring play, Freddy Gazal sent the ball to Nico Montoni just in front of the six-yard box. Montoni laid the ball off for Raker for the tally.
 
Brunswick goalie Andrew Breckenridge played all 90 minutes in net, making four saves, including a key turn-away early in the contest.
