Brunswick won its second-straight Western New England Prep Golf Invitational on Wednesday, carding a five-player aggregate score of 382 on the par-72 layout at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent.
The tournament, in its fourth year, featured 16 other prep teams from Connecticut and New York. Avon Old Farms was the runner-up, finishing six strokes behind the Bruins, while St. Luke’s (391) took third, followed by Taft (393).
Brunswick’s Ben Carpenter’s round of two-over-par 74 earned Carpenter a tie for second-place overall. Connor Belcastro shot a 75, while Matt Camel carded a 76. Matty Dzialga finished with a 78, as Charlie Marvin posted a 79 and Chase Caffray shot an 80.
Brunswick, owning an unbeaten mark of 37-0, returns to action at Taft on Monday, May 13.
