Golf Team Wins Greenwich Invitational

Brunswick won the 2019 Greenwich Invitational, held at the Stanwich Club on Thursday. The Bruins topped Greenwich H.S., St. Luke’s and Fairfield Prep, as Matt Camel was the medalist, shooting a one-over par 73.
 
Brunswick’s four-score aggregate (299) was 22 strokes better than second-place Greenwich H.S., as St Luke’s (334) was third and Fairfield Prep finished fourth with 343 strokes.
 
Following Camel’s 73, Connor Belcastro and Charlie Marvin posted matching 74’s, as Ben Carpenter shot a 78 and Matty Dzialga carded an 83.
 
The unbeaten Bruins (21-0) will play in the Western New England Invitational at Bulls Ridge GC on Wednesday, May 8.
