Golf Wins Season-Opener

Brunswick picked up a decisive 187-216 win over Loomis Chaffee in the Bruins’ season-opening contest on Wednesday at the Wintonbury Hills Golf Club in Bloomfield, Conn.

 

While both teams faced challenging wind conditions, Brunswick’s Connor Belcastro medaled with an even-par 35, as teammates Matty Dzialga and Charlie Marvin were both one off the pace. Rounding out the scoring for the Bruins were Matt Camel (40), Chase Caffray (40) and Bladen Smith (43).

 

The Bruins return to action with a road trip to Pennsylvania to play The Hill School on Saturday, April 6.
