Rossetti is currently ranked sixth nationally. Errico won his semifinal over the third-seed and nationally-ranked Zach Spencer from Phillips Exeter, 9-8.

Errico, with a remarkable 44-0 on the season, heads to the National Prep Wrestling Championships, where his older brother, Jon, earned back-to-back All-American honors (2015, 2016).

Five other Bruins will join Errico at the Prep Nationals at Lehigh University, including: Chris Perry, Nick Bell and Tim Saunders. Bell and Saunders were runners-up for the second-straight year at New Englands, while Perry was the champion at 113-pounds in 2018. Two more wrestlers will make the trip to Pennsylvania after posting top-six results at New Englands, as Nadji Ngbokoli (4th place) and Jackson Wolfram (6th place) as all top-six tournament finishers qualify for Prep Nationals.

In the 126-pound semifinals, Perry (37-2), ranked ninth nationally, avenged his only loss from the regular season against the eighth-ranked national prep wrestler, posting a 9-1 major decision win. In the title bout, Perry, the third-seed, lost an 8-6 decision to the fifth-seed, ranked 10th nationally.

Second-seeded Bell (32-8) earned a 5-0 decision in the semi-finals at 145-pounds, but fell to a post-grad wrestler from Pomfret, ranked #12 nationally. Bell is ranked 19th nationally.

Saunders (38-3) pinned his way through the 195-pound bracket to reach the finals. Saunders, the second seed and ranked fifth nationally, dropped a 9-5 decision to the number one seed from Exeter, ranked fourth in the nation.

The fifth-seeded Ngbokoli (29-13) wrestled to a fourth-place finish at 152-pounds.

Wolfram (28-10) matched his tournament seeding with a sixth-place finish at 113-pounds.

Dylan Reynolds (23-17) placed eighth at 170-pounds, also matched his tournament seeding.

Will MacGillivray (24-8) and Clayton Ostrover (31-5) did not place, but earned valuable team points for the Bruins at 106-pounds and 182-pounds, respectively.

Head coach Tim Ostrye, in his 32nd year, was honored by his coaching peers as the New England Prep Wrestling "Coach of the Year".

Up next for the six Bruins and coaches is the two-day National Prep Wrestling Tournament at Lehigh University beginning on February 22.
