Brunswick placed 10th overall at the 2019 NEPSAC Class B Alpine Ski Championships, held at Ski Sundown in New Hartford, Conn., on Wednesday. Jose Riera led the Bruins, finishing in fifth-place in the giant slalom and sixth in the slalom against racers from 11 schools.
In the slalom, Riera earned a sixth-place overall finish, following a seventh-place opening run and a fifth-place second run. Riera was the only Brunswick racer to complete both runs.
Riera combined second-place and sixth-place results in the two giant slalom runs for the fifth-place finish. Teammates Cameron Shipman and Theo Coupe finished 15th and 41st, respectively, in the GS.
