Basketball Loses Season Finale, Awaits Post-Season Opponent
Brunswick wrapped up the regular season with a 57-40 road setback to FAA foe Greens Farms on Thursday. The Bruins (5-15, 4-10) qualified for a quarterfinal game in the upcoming FAA Tournament on Tuesday, February 19.
Brunswick’s opponent and the location of the FAA Quarterfinal game has yet to be determined.
Against Greens Farms, the Bruins held an early first half lead, but trailed the Dragons at the half, 29-22.
Greens Farms built a double-digit lead in the second half and cruised to the 57-40 win.
Tristan Joseph led the Bruins with a team-high 16 points, adding a trio of three-pointers. Chisom Okpara netted a dozen points, while Ryan and Colin Mulshine added five points apiece. Sam Mazzullo’s two points completed the scoring for the Bruins.
