Brunswick battled back from a 3-0 deficit at Albany with a pair of third-period goals, but the Bruins fell to the Cadets by a 5-2 margin on Thursday.
Albany held a 1-0 lead after two periods and added a pair of goals to open the final frame for a 3-0 lead over the visiting Bruins.
Brunswick mounted its two-goal counter with a goal by Cooper Moore (13th goal) with 7:26 left in the third, as Henry Hill notched his third goal of the season nearly four minutes later to make it a 3-2 contest.
The Cadets responded with an insurance goal with 2:36 left to play and followed with an empty-net tally with just over two minutes left for the 5-2 final.
Brunswick has a quick turnaround with a road game against sixth-ranked Gunnery on Friday, before wrapping up the regular season seven days later at Trinity-Pawling.
