  • Baseball - Varsity

    2016 - 2017

Baseball continues to excel at Brunswick. Under current head coach Johnny Montanez, the Bruins have become a regional powerhouse on the diamond, winning four FAA regular season titles and three tournament crowns since 2012. The team has garnered numerous individual accolades, including state-wide coach and player of the year awards.

Beyond annual spring training trips to Florida, the team also competes in Perfect Game tournaments in Georgia. During the season, the team faces one of the most difficult schedules in the region. Adding to a challenging FAA home-and-home slate, the Bruins schedule a number of talented baseball programs in the tri-state area.

Coach Montanez and his staff expect each player to maintain a standard of excellence to represent the Brunswick community. The coaching staff creates a daily environment designed to maximize the potential of all players, including members of the freshman, JV and varsity teams.

Many players continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level. Former Bruins have played for ACC, Big East, Ivy League, NESCAC and other top Division II and Division III programs.
