Upper School Math Team Shines at Opening Match

Brunswick opened the Fairfield County Math League season with a commanding first-place finish, earning 107 points to top a field of 25 public and private schools on Wednesday.

Greenwich High School finished second with 86 points.

Seniors Vikram Sarkar and Jack Whitney-Epstein each posted perfect scores — an honor achieved by only seven students across the county. They were joined on the winning A-Team by Sohan Javeri ’28, Arjun Leih ’28, Magne Sogaard-Srikrishnan ’27, and Ashwin Siva ’28.

Brunswick’s B1 Team also delivered a strong showing with 45 points, a total that would have placed seventh overall — or sixth if counted in place of the A-Team.
