As work proceeds in the search for a new Head of School, I’m writing to update you on progress and next steps.

To begin, the Board has empowered a Search Committee. The full roster of members includes:

Mary Gorman and Michele Haertel of Spencer Stuart, our search firm, have visited Brunswick to conduct “listening sessions” with senior administrators, faculty, students, and others.

Spencer Stuart’s listening and discovery work will continue through Spring Break. During this period, they will meet with interested stakeholders, including hosting a dedicated session to gather feedback from our alumni community. We’ll be in touch to alert you to opportunities to participate in the process as they become available. 

Then, in the spring, working closely with Spencer Stuart, the Search Committee will begin comprehensive and extensive consideration of candidates.

Once the Board and Search Committee have concluded the consideration process and selected a candidate, the finalist will join the Brunswick faculty as the new Head of School in the summer of 2027.
