Math Team Triumphs at New England Competition

Brunswick’s Upper School math team delivered an outstanding performance at the New England competition held at Canton High School, placing first among small schools in a field of 35 public and private schools from across the region.

The Bruins earned a team score of 98, finishing ahead of Hopkins (69) in the small school division. In addition, Brunswick’s six-student team outperformed all medium schools (which also field six students) and, on a per-student basis, surpassed all large schools except for Lexington High School.

A standout achievement came from Vikram Sarkar, Jack Whitney-Epstein, and Sohan Javeri, who each earned perfect scores — an exceptionally rare accomplishment for three students from the same school at a single competition.
