Brunswick’s Upper School math team captured its third consecutive New England Small School Championship on Saturday, May 3, at Canton High School in Massachusetts.
Forty-five schools took part – split into Large, Medium, and Small Divisions – having qualified through exemplary performance in their local and/or state competitions.
Brunswick's team – Sohan Javeri ’28, Jeremy Lee ’25, Arjun Leih ’28, Vikram Sarkar ’26, Ashwin Siva ’28, and Jack Whitney-Epstein ’26 – placed first in the Small School Division with 112 points; the second- and third-place teams scored 90 and 67 points, respectively. (Brunswick's score would also have been enough to win the Medium School Division.)
Additionally, Sarkar and Whitney-Epstein earned perfect scores of 18 in the match.
