Crew Retains Richard Curtis Trophy

Brunswick won all three events at Salisbury in the annual race between the two schools.
In winning the Varsity Eights race, Brunswick retains the Richard Curtis Trophy. Brunswick now holds a 9 to 7 advantage since the two schools established the trophy in 2006.
Facing a stiff headwind in the first half of the race, the Bruins Varsity Eight crossed the finish line in 4:45.9 with open water back to their opponents.
In the Second Varsity Eights race, Brunswick pulled away early and finished with an open water lead in a time of 5:10.2.
Brunswick‘s Third Varsity Eight faced their counterparts from Salisbury and were joined by Brunswick‘s Fourth Eight. While no final time was taken due to a re-start, Brunswick’s Third Varsity Eight pulled away to also win by open water.
