Performance Nutrition

The Performance Nutrition Program at Brunswick is committed to empowering student-athletes and teams to achieve excellence in sports and overall well-being. We combine evidence-based science with personalized strategies to optimize athletic performance, promote lifelong health, and foster positive relationships with food.

Our approach takes into account all aspects of a student’s well-being, considering both individual health status and team goals. We provide expert nutrition guidance that emphasizes nutrient quality, quantity, and timing to support optimal fueling for performance and recovery.  Our holistic approach goes beyond performance; we prioritize mental clarity, physical recovery, and long-term health. 

At Brunswick, we prioritize sustainable habits that extend beyond athletic achievement. By focusing on nutrition literacy, we teach athletes how to make informed food choices, from grocery shopping to meal preparation, ensuring they fuel their bodies effectively. Additionally, we provide education on supplement safety, helping athletes make smart decisions in supplementation.

Through education and evidence-based practices, our program ensures that every student-athlete has the tools, resources, and knowledge to reach their full potential—on the field, in the classroom, and in lifelong habits that extend beyond their time at Brunswick.
