Strength and Conditioning

The Brunswick Strength & Conditioning program exists to develop the elite physical skills of all Bruins for a successful high school career on and off the field. The program helps students achieve their performance goals by progressively applying varying stress during their different training phases, all while pushing them to progress outside their comfort zone. We accomplish this with mastery of the foundational movement patterns, driving adherence through purposeful challenge and gamification when appropriate while following a scientific approach.

Our mission is to enhance strength, power, speed, and mobility, creating well-rounded athletes who excel not only in sports but in every aspect of their academic and personal lives. We tailor our training to meet individual performance goals, whether in athletics, the arts, or school, ensuring that every student reaches their highest potential. By reducing the risk of injury and promoting a robust, anti-fragile mindset, our program helps students become resilient, adaptable, and prepared for life's challenges.

Key Program Goals:

  • Improve Performance: Tailored to each student's goals for personal growth.
  • Strength, Speed, and Conditioning: Our comprehensive strength and conditioning program incorporates all of these components for success.
  • Decrease Injuries: Build resilience and reduce the risk of injury through smart, evidence-based training methodologies.
  • Motivation Through Education: Empower students with the tools to train and compete, fostering lifelong physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Cultivate a safe, supportive, and challenging space for students to develop both their physical bodies and character.

At Brunswick, we are committed to guiding our students on their journey toward excellence, both in sports and in life.
