Brunswick has won 10 consecutive NEPSAC water polo championships. 

The program's skill and cohesiveness have also gained national recognition, as the Bruins were recently ranked as high as fourth in the country, the only non-California team at the time to earn a spot in the Top 20. 

In 2024, the Bruins opened their season by traveling to Barcelona, Spain, to compete in the Next Generation Water Polo Club Tournament against top international talent from across the world. After returning home, the team won the Beast of the East Tournament, the 49th Cardinal Cup, and the NEPSAC Championship. Five players were named All-NEPSAC, with one player being named honorable mention. Brunswick also had the NEPSAC Player of the Year and Goalie of the Year.

Brunswick has produced numerous NISCA Water Polo All-Americans and Academic All-Americans, and has consistently developed players for the USA Water Polo pipeline at the Development, Cadet, Youth, Junior, and Senior National Team levels. Most recently, a Brunswick alumnus competed for the USA Men’s Junior and Senior National Teams alongside Olympians, helping the team achieve the best finish in USA history at a World Championship event at any age group.

Players have gone on to compete at the varsity collegiate level at institutions such as Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, Brown, MIT, Pepperdine, UC Irvine, and the U.S. Naval Academy. Others have made significant contributions at the club level, leading their teams to conference titles and appearances at the National Collegiate Club Championships.

The Bruins compete at the Mehra Natatorium on Edwards Campus, where interscholastic water polo is also offered at the Middle School level.
