Founded in 1952 by faculty member James Brown, a former U.S. National Team player and member of Manchester United during the 1930s, Brunswick Soccer has established a proud tradition of excellence spanning more than seven decades. From its early beginnings competing against local schools, the program has evolved into one of the premier soccer programs in New England, consistently challenging the region's top NEPSAC Class A opponents. The Bruins earned invitations to the prestigious New England Championship Tournament in both 2010 and 2016, reflecting the program's standing among the elite.

Since taking over as Head Coach in 2017, Danny Simpson has guided Brunswick through seven winning seasons in one of the nation's most competitive independent school soccer leagues. His leadership has continued to build upon the program's rich history while fostering a culture of commitment, development, and competitive excellence.

Brunswick Soccer has produced generations of student-athletes who have advanced to the collegiate level, competed professionally in Major League Soccer, and represented the United States on the international stage. These accomplishments reflect the program's commitment to developing both exceptional players and outstanding young men.

Home matches are played on Carroll Field at the Upper Middle School campus on King Street, where the Brunswick community gathers to support a tradition of excellence.

Soccer remains one of the most popular sports at Brunswick. The Upper School fields five teams, ranging from Varsity to Freshman levels, while the Middle School supports four teams across the seventh and eighth grades. This comprehensive structure provides student-athletes with a clear pathway for growth, development, and competitive success throughout their Brunswick journey.
