The varsity golf team has enjoyed success against a broad group of New England prep schools and strong local programs. Playing a demanding schedule on some of the most challenging and historic courses in the area, the Bruins hold an excellent record, winning multiple team and individual titles at the most competitive events in the region. In 2025, the team won the FAA Championship and also took home the Western New England Invitational for the third consecutive year.
Brunswick plays home matches and practices on a course rotation that includes Bedford Golf and Tennis Club, Fairview CC, GlenArbor Club, Greenwich CC, Milbrook Club, Rockrimmon CC, Round Hill Club, and Stanwich Club.
Spring break trips have involved practice and competition at classic golf destinations like Georgia's Atlanta Athletic Club, East Lake Golf Club, and Sea Island Club. Florida trips have included stops at TPC Sawgrass, PGA National, The Bear's Club, and Medalist Golf Club.
Brunswick players are taught course management skills and match and stroke play strategies, as well as sportsmanship, course etiquette, and the honor and values inherent in the game of golf. A “golf room” in Burke Field House boasts three hitting bays and a state-of-the-art simulator equipped with a TrackMan launch monitor for detailed swing analysis.
Recent graduates have gone on to play at the collegiate level, including at Division I programs in the Big 10, Ivy League, and Patriot League, as well as at top Division III programs in the NESCAC.
