'Wick Hoops Picks Up Post-Exam 'W'
Brunswick emerged victorious against Berkshire on Friday night in Dann Gym by a score of 71-60.
It was all Bruins from start to finish. In a game they never trailed, the home team built a quick 15-4 lead over the first six minutes of play, smothering the Bears with full court pressure, scoring points in transition, and executing in the half court to get easy looks offensively.
After leading 37-18 at the break, Brunswick was in position to put the game away early, but a flurry of hot shooting from deep by Berkshire kept things interesting. Ultimately, the Bruins made winning plays when it mattered down the stretch and closed out a comfortable win.
Rhaki Lum led the way offensively with 29 points. Connor Robinson added 13 and Gabe Dunleavy had 11.
Brunswick returns to Dann Gym on Wednesday for an FAA showdown with Masters.
