As the #1 seed in the FAA tournament, Brunswick hosted #8 Hopkins in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, besting the visitors by a score of 76-43.

The Bruins made a statement early as they started the game on a 13-2 run over the first three minutes of play and never looked back. It was a team effort from the home squad, which went deep into their bench in the first half and headed into the break with a 39-15 advantage.

Brunswick rested its starters much of the second half, as Jaylen Johnson led the way with 10 points in the game's final 16 minutes.

Thirteen of 14 active Bruins scored on the night.

Brunswick hosts GCDS on Thursday afternoon in an FAA semifinal showdown.
