Squash Finishes Third at U.S. High School Team Championships

Brunswick competed at the 2026 U.S. High School Team Squash Championships, held February 20–22 at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center and other venues in Philadelphia. The national event featured more than 1,700 players from across the country. 

The Bruins opened the tournament with a 7–0 victory over Choate in Friday’s first round. On Saturday morning, Brunswick advanced to the semifinals with a 6–1 win against Deerfield.

Later that evening, the Bruins faced eventual runner-up St. Andrew's School and fell by a 5–2 score.

Brunswick responded on Sunday in the third-place match, edging Haverford School, 4–3, to secure a top-three finish.

Competing for the Bruins were Thomas Carney (#1), Jackson Pastel (#2), Carson Beck (#3), Raziq Putra (#4), Killian McCracken (#5), Alberto Ubiña (#6), and Reed Goulding (#7).
