NEPSAC Champions: Tennis Team Takes Title

Brunswick defeated Phillips Exeter Academy, 4–3, on Sunday at Deerfield Academy to capture the NEPSAC Class A Championship — the program’s fourth Class A title since moving up in 2019.

After dropping the doubles point, the Bruins responded in singles play behind straight-set wins from Vlad Dombrovskyi and Jamie McCutcheon, while Yates Brunt rallied from a set down to earn a key three-set victory.

With the overall match tied 3–3, the championship came down to Sebastien Moullé-Berteaux at No. 2 singles. After splitting the opening two sets, Moullé-Berteaux saved two championship points in a dramatic super tiebreaker before clinching the title with a 14–12 win.
