Golf Team Completes Undefeated FAA Regular Season

The Brunswick golf team beat FAA rival RCDS by a 9-0 margin on Tuesday to finish the regular season with a 14-2 record and an undefeated FAA regular season.

After the gauntlet of matches in the past two weeks, the Bruins entered their last regular season contest better rested and saw a return to form at just the right time. At Bedford Golf and Tennis Club, they looked to make a statement that they were a team to watch out for as the FAA championship approaches. Mac Ahern led the team with an even par score of 36, which earned him the medalist title for the match. Charlie Perkins also bounced back well, scrambling around the course for a 38. Braxton Bruce, Ryan Forsyth, and Rob Ryan all carded scores of 40, and Henry Graham rounded out the day with a 42.

With the regular season behind them, the Bruins look to prepare for a consequential week ahead with the FAA championship on Monday and the Western New England Invitational on Wednesday.
