Cross Country Runners Race at Wilton Invitational

Brunswick's cross country team sent four runners to compete individually in the 35th Annual Wilton Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, with all turning in commendable performances. 

Three sophomores entered the field of 250 runners for the 5K Varsity Race, with results that bode well for the season ahead. Teddy Hojlo led the way, earning sixth place honors with a personal best 15:57, while Armaan Lakhani and Arjun Kolluri impressed in 18:09 and 18:10, respectively (60th and 63rd). 

Also, in an impressive varsity debut and competing as the only eighth grader in the field of 190 runners for the freshman race, Shaurya Gupta placed fifth overall in a time of 8:10 over the 1.5 mile course.
