Bruins Make History, Sweep Top-Three at FAA Meet

Brunswick made the most of a rare September home race, delivering a historic team performance on its own course. With dedicated course preparation and the support of faculty and student volunteers, the meet ran smoothly — and the Bruins responded with a sweep, avenging an earlier loss to Masters.

The 10-point swing, from a three-point defeat earlier in the season to a seven-point victory this time, highlighted the team’s resilience and steady improvement.

Nathan Lee (16:17) and Teddy Hojlo (16:18) set the pace, while Armaan Lakhani (16:27) secured third with a personal best. Their finish marked the first time in 25 years that any FAA boys’ team had swept the top three spots, guaranteeing the win.

In their first league race of the season, Arjun Kolluri (18:43) and Shaurya Gupta (19:28) rounded out the scoring five. Additional highlights included Graeme Morley (20:52), who improved by eight places from his previous FAA finish, and Sawyer White (21:54), who recorded a personal best.
