Bruins Fall to Lawrenceville in Prep Nationals

Brunswick and Lawrenceville faced off in the finals of Prep Nationals on Sunday afternoon on Cosby Field, with the Big Red emerging as champions after a 14-5 win over the Bruins.

The Big Red were dominate in the game and built an early lead that Brunswick was unable to chip away at. The Bruins played as hard as they could, leaving it all out in the field, in an attempt to cut into Lawerenceville’s momentum.

Although this afternoon’s game did not go Brunswick’s way, there is still plenty to be proud of this season. A 17-1 season record, an undefeated regular season, and a six-week run as the No. 1 team in the nation are just a few of the team's accomplishments. Ten Brunswick seniors will go on to play lacrosse at the next level, all at Division I programs. There is a lot to look forward to for Brunswick next season.
