Bruins Celebrate Senior Day, Cap Undefeated NEPSAC Regular Season

It was a memorable Saturday afternoon at Mehra Natatorium, as Brunswick wrapped up its regular season with back-to-back wins over Choate and Suffield to finish a perfect 10–0 in NEPSAC play.

The day began with a 22–9 victory over Choate — made even more meaningful as it came on Senior Day. Before the game, the Bruins honored their six seniors — Callum Walker ’26, Neveh Yechiely ’26, JR Lindberg ’26, Parker Tichio ’26, Henry Mayerfield ’26, and Anthony Sayegh ’26 — for their leadership and contributions. That leadership was immediately on display as Tichio opened the scoring and sparked a flurry of early goals. By the end of the first quarter, Brunswick led 10–1, setting the tone for a dominant performance in which every senior scored in their final home game.

After a short intermission, the Bruins returned to the pool and capped their undefeated season with a 24–7 win over Suffield. The underclassmen carried the momentum, jumping out to a 7–1 first-quarter lead behind goals from Chris Hake ’27 and Grayson Shaw ’29. Rotating lineups throughout the game, Brunswick continued to display its trademark depth, discipline, and unselfish play.

A special highlight came when Nate O’Connor ’27 tallied his first and second career goals — a milestone moment in a fitting end to a remarkable regular season.
