Bruins Capture FAA Golf Championship

Brunswick captured the FAA Championship on Monday at Centennial Golf Club, posting a team score of 383 (+23) to secure its fourth consecutive league title.

The Bruins finished 12 shots ahead of St. Luke's School and 24 clear of Hamden Hall Country Day School, navigating gusty conditions on a challenging, hilly, and narrow course that rewarded precision. All six Brunswick golfers placed T-15 or better, with the five scoring players finishing in the top seven.

Captain Tommy Meagher led the way, earning medalist honors with a 75 (+3). Charlie Perkins and Mac Ahern followed, tying for second with rounds of 76, while Jack Chung and Holden Vintiadis each carded 78s. Braxton Bruce rounded out the scoring with an 81.

With the win, Brunswick improves to 22–2 on the season and will close out the year Wednesday at the Western New England Invitational at The Club at River Oaks in Sherman, Conn.
