The varsity golf team finished its undefeated 2024 season with a resounding victory in the FAA Tournament, held at Tamarack Country Club on Monday afternoon.
Brunswick's total score of 366 beat second-place King School by 17 shots and third-place finisher St. Luke's by 21 shots.
The team was led by senior co-captain Will Harned and sophomore Jack Chung, who each carded 72s, highlighted by three birdies apiece. Harned and Chung were named to the All-FAA Team.
Earning FAA Honorable-Mention were sophomores Charlie Perkins (74) and Henry Graham (75), as well as senior co-captain James O'Connor (77). Holden Vintiadis '26 also completed a very good round despite the tough early season conditions on the putting greens. The quality and depth of the squad proved, once again, why this group is so difficult to beat.
The team finished the season with an undefeated record of 32-0. Although its top players will be missed, there are a dozen golfers returning for next season and the outlook is very positive.
