Bruce Wins 200th Game, Bruins Defeat Avon Old Farms

Head Coach David Bruce earned his 200th victory leading the Brunswick lacrosse program, as the Bruins topped Avon Old Farms, 11-4, on Wednesday afternoon on Cosby Field. 

Shots began falling for the home team in the second half after the New England rivals went to the locker room at the break separated by just two goals, with Brunswick leading 4-2. Five third-quarter tallies proved to be the difference on what was a perfect afternoon for lacrosse. 

Nine different Bruins found the net, as the offense shared the ball effectively throughout the contest.

With the win, ’Wick moved to 13-0 on the season with a showdown at Salisbury next on the slate for Friday night in northwestern Connecticut.
