Brunswick and Trinity-Pawling faced off for the second time in as many days — with the Bruins earning the weekend sweep with a 16-8 victory in Pawling, N.Y., on Saturday.
The teams went toe-to-toe in a high-scoring first quarter, which saw the visitors take a 5-3 lead on goals from Luke Waters, Jackson Wolfram, Myles Spiess, and the Delgado brothers — Lucas and Tomas.
The Pride cut it to one early in the second quarter on an extra-man opportunity, and the game would reach 7-6 before a four-goal Brunswick run made it 11-6 at halftime. Chris Gaine, Andrew Greenspan, Coulter Mackesy, and Leo Hoffman were additional scorers.
The second half was a little quieter on the scoresheet — as the Bruins’ defense limited T-P to one goal in each quarter and secured the 16-8 win.
The undefeated Bruins (4-0) will meet Lawrenceville on Wednesday in New Jersey.
