Brunswick broke open a 1-1 contest at Hill with five-straight second period goals, as the Bruins cruised to an 8-2 win on Saturday. The Bruins, ranked eighth in the latest USHR.com weekly poll, improve to 14-4-2, as Hill drops to 10-5-1.
Eight different Brunswick skaters added solo markers in the contest.
The decisive five-tally burst took less than seven minutes of action, as the Bruins built a 6-1 lead. Michael Salandra opened the scoring 5:24 into the second frame and James Shannon capped the scoring surge.
