Wrestlers Win Third-Straight Battle of the Bay Tourney

Brunswick won its third-straight Battle of the Bay crown, as the Bruins sent nine wrestlers to the podium in the 28-team tournament, hosted by Tabor Academy on Saturday. Additionally, Luca Errico earned Most Outstanding Wrestler accolades from the coaches at the tournament.

 

Brunswick, with three individual champions among its nine top-six finishers, collected 182.5 team points, eclipsing second-place Northfield Mount Hermon by 19 points. In each of the Bruins’ Battle of the Bay titles, the Hoggers finished as runners-up.

 

Errico (145-lbs), Chris Perry (138) and Clayton Ostrover (195) were individual champions, as Nadji Ngbokoli (170) finished second.
