Beginning in the 2015-16 season, the Brunswick Alpine Ski Team continues to post remarkable results. The program uses experienced ski racers and expert skiers looking for an accelerated introduction to the sport. In 2016-17, the squad finished second at the NEPSAC Class B Championships, while winning numerous team and individual CISL races during the regular season.
The program is based off of other successful small-mountain programs. This training program produced more U.S. Ski Team members and Olympic medalists than any other in North America.
During the ski season, weekly on-snow training will be scheduled, while dry-land training will be conducted at the King Street Campus. The team will travel to Mt. Southington for regular-season races.
As a member of both the Connecticut Interscholastic Ski Association (CISL) and the NEPSAC, racers will be able to qualify for both the Connecticut State Championship and the NEPSAC Championship.
