With a history of celebrated coaches and players, the Brunswick tennis team has grown to become very competitive in both the FAA league as well as the New England region in recent years.
Head Coach and Director of Racquet Sports Ryan Abraham has led the Bruins to a record of 58-9 over five (excluding 2020) seasons, and will be seeking to achieve further success for his team in 2022, in what hopes to be the first full match schedule since 2019.
Before the pandemic, Brunswick had been crowned New England B Class champs in 2018, then A class champs in 2019, and was preparing to defend that title in 2020. The Bruins also had a four-season undefeated run in the FAA league (24-0) from 2016 to 2019, and finished 4-1 in league play last season.
Brunswick tennis has also produced some top college players in the sport. In the past four graduating classes, Brunswick’s #1 player has gone on to play college tennis.
