With scientific goals in mind, ’Wick 2nd graders visited the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on Thursday, October 16.
As the 2nd-grade science curriculum focuses on the scientific method, the boys used their observational skills to record notes on the different types of sharks that the aquarium has to offer.
The trip also included an IMAX screening of “Born to Be Wild,” the story of two women who have dedicated their lives toward the rescue of orphaned orangutans and elephants in Borneo and Kenya.
It was a great experience for an inquisitive group of young Bruins.
