William Frick, 95, former Middle School head and teacher in both the Middle and Upper Schools, died May 15. Highly decorated as an infantry forward observer in Gen. George C. Patton’s Third Army during World War II, he was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge, earning a Silver Star, Purple Heart, and Battlefield Commission. Arrangements are under the direction of Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home of Greenwich. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Second Congregational Church, 139 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.
