Golf Streak Continues with Victory over Kent

The Bruins ventured up to New Milford to match up against Kent School at the Candlewood Valley CC on Saturday, winning every match and coming away with a 7-0 victory.

Conditions were sloppy from all the spring rain but the sun came out mid-round and the temps warmed up.

Of particular note were matches at the top of the line up:  Will Harned (5&3), James O'Connor (4&2), and Jack Chung (4&2).  Two sophomore golfers played their first match for the Bruins and both won: Holden Vintiadis (4&2) and Tommy Meagher (1 up).  Henry Graham (3&1) and Charlie Perkins (3&2) completed the sweep.

The team has two matches far away from home this week: Wednesday vs. Portledge at Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, N.Y. (Long Island) and Saturday vs. Northfield Mt. Hermon at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
