Brunswick earned a 72-53 victory against FAA foe St. Luke’s at Dann Gym on Wednesday afternoon.
The two teams traded baskets for the first several minutes of the game and ‘Wick held a 15-14 lead with 10 minutes remaining in the first half. From that point on, it was all Bruins as they tightened up defensively and were carried offensively by a 17-point first half effort from sophomore Jack Stevens.
Coming out of the break with a 14-point advantage, Brunswick kept its foot on the gas and quickly put the game out of reach. The Bruins bench received some quality action down the stretch, highlighted by a fast-break dunk from senior Caden Bowling.
Stevens led the way offensively with 20 points, including five three pointers, and Matty Augustine added 14.
Brunswick will travel to Berkshire on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. tip.
