Brunswick dropped its first FAA contest of the season on Tuesday evening at King by a score of 79-57.
After jumping out to a quick lead, Brunswick fell behind in a hurry as the sharp-shooting King squad seemingly couldn’t miss for the entirety of the first half.
Determined to claw their way back into the game in the second and begin to erase an 18-point deficit, the Bruins committed to full court pressure and transition offense. Their efforts ultimately fell short, as despite scoring in bunches, they were unable to get the necessary stops on the other end.
It will be a quick turnaround with a 2:30 p.m. tip-off at Millbrook on Wednesday.
