Eight Bruins Sign National Letters of Intent

Eight Brunswick seniors — Ryan Ohl in water polo; Payton Anderson, Hudson Hausmann, Luke Hublitz, and Casey Quinson in lacrosse; Calder Glassman and Michael Yeager in baseball; and Will Harned in golf — signed National Letters of Intent (NLI) on Wednesday, November 8.

Ohl, a member of the 2023 USA Men’s Junior National Team, has been a key cornerstone of the Brunswick water polo program since joining the varsity as a freshman in 2020. He will play collegiately at Stanford University.

Anderson, Hausmann, Hublitz, and Quinson — all of whom played significant roles for Brunswick’s highly ranked lacrosse squad from a year ago — will attend Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia, and Colgate, respectively.

Glassman and Yeager — both dominant pitchers who will lead the defending FAA champions onto the diamond this spring — are set to play collegiate baseball at Notre Dame and Virginia, respectively.

Harned, this year’s co-captain of the Brunswick golf team and a participant in last summer’s United States Junior Amateur Championship, will compete on the links at Wisconsin.

The NLI is a contract signed by both the student-athlete and their college. All NLI contracts must include an athletic aid agreement or athletic scholarship that lists the amount of athletic aid the athlete is being offered for their first academic year. Student-athletes must be enrolling at a four-year NCAA D1 or D2 institution for the first time or transferring to a four-year institution from a two-year college to be eligible to sign the NLI.
