Ski Team Wins Three Races

Brunswick placed three skiers in the top 10, as the Bruins (5-1) topped Darien, Fairfield, and Gilbert at Mt. Southington on January 12. Nick Blum won the overall event with a two-race time of 43.24 seconds, while teammate Ethan Hynes came in second place, just .63 seconds behind Blum.

 

Ian Murray placed sixth for Brunswick with a time of 44.75.

 

Matched up against Darien, Fairfield, and Gilbert, the Bruins finished with an overall score of 284.00, narrowly besting Fairfield (285.28) and Darien (285.57), as the Gilbert team was disqualified.
