With a shuffled lineup, Brunswick won its home opener at the Stephens Squash Center, soundly defeating Rye Country Day on Wednesday, 7-0. In games to 11, the Bruins (3-0) did not lose a single game nor allow a Wildcat player to reach eight points in any game.
Up next for Brunswick is a home contest against last year’s national semifinalist and 2014 national champion, Avon Old Farms. Last season, the Bruins knocked the Winged Beavers out of the national championship in the semifinal round, advancing to win its second straight national title.
