Three Brunswick alpine skiers – Patch Leonard, Ollie Leonard, and Teddy Hojlo – competed in a qualification shootout at Mt. Southington on Tuesday evening.
After the giant slalom shootout two weeks ago, 30 racers took on the warm conditions to vie for the final 12 spots on Team Connecticut.
Ollie Leonard placed second, and Patch Leonard finished third to secure their spots – while Hojilo just missed the qualification with a 12th-place finish.
The Leonard brothers will travel to the High School Eastern Championships at Attitash Mountain in New Hampshire in March to compete against 15 other teams and over 130 athletes in the boys division.
