Fencers Win State Title

Brunswick's men’s sabre fencing team won the Connecticut State Fencing Championship today in Bridgeport, Conn.  

 

The competition was run by the Connecticut State High School Fencing Association and included all qualifying high school fencing teams, public and private, from the entire state.

The men’s sabre team qualified at last weekend’s Individual Fencing Championship, where senior captain Grant MacFaddin placed third overall.

 

Grant MacFaddin ’15, Thomas Burke ’17, and Paul Grasso ’17 made up the championship team.
